AMETHYST - Throw Down the Gauntlet album project

Graphic design and art direction for Amethyst’s debut album. The visual approach draws inspiration from the band’s early heavy metal roots (1979–1980), aiming to capture that raw, formative energy. I chose the typeface “Asoma” for its ability to evoke the wonder and mystique of 1970s-era lettering; mirroring the atmosphere and sonic identity the band is shaping.
